Sigler Machine Company is a family owned and operated business. It was founded in 1976, with a few lathes, a drill press and milling machine, in a barn in Princeton, MA. The first emphasis was on the wire industry which was prevalent in Worcester County. Sigler Machine went from part repair, to machine rebuild, to building new wire machinery. In the year 1976, the owner Larry Sigler even made a cannon for our country’s Bicentennial!
They continued to make parts for the wire industry and also machine building industries, medical, computer, and automotive industries. In 1982, Larry even converted his motorcycle into a three wheeled sports car called the Sigler Cycle Car. With Larry’s engineering expertise, customers would also rely on him for research and development projects and new prototypes. In 1988 Sigler Machine Company purchased the first of many Computer Numerical Control machines. By the time they outgrew their facilities in Princeton, they had occupied three buildings, grew to a dozen employees and over one hundred customers.
